Learning: Consultation in Character Discovery, Saturday, May 8, 2:45 – 5:00 pm. Why is character important? Isn’t love enough? Becoming acquainted with your own character and that of your partner is vital in building a resilient relationship that endures. In this workshop, we’ll explore how consultation is vital to this process. With its aim of seeking truth, consultation provides a framework for understanding what character is and how to view character traits in a fair-minded way. We’ll learn about the different types of character: innate, inherited and acquired. We’ll discuss why this is an important foundation for a relationship. Then we’ll interactively explore the different ways we experience and express various character traits. Reserve your spot early, as these workshops tend to fill up quickly. We look forward to seeing you! Facilitators Sara DeHoff & Karen Tucker Lynch. Zoom link provided upon registration. This series of workshops is sponsored by the Office of Marriage and Family of the Portland Local Spiritual Assembly. Register here on Eventbrite.
